*2012*

-5.00 Domestic Popularity (People are really upset with this development. They see this as the precipice of a larger conflict with Russia which is something the people of France DO NOT want to see under ANY circumstances)
+4.00 Domestic Popularity (People on the right wing see this as Hollande gaining the courage to stand his ground. They are gaining a new respect for Hollande and his government as liberal supporters begin to feel shaky about Hollande)
+3.00 International Popularity (People around Europe are rallying behind the French and believe France is justified in deploying to the Mediterranean. They see Russia as an angry aggressor coming to defend a "madman" in Damascus)
French Markets Shaky, People Expressing Concerns but things overall are still very much secure only slight worries at this point by investors

+/- Domestic Popularity (No Change, French are now mostly solidified against Syria seeing that Syria is trying to intimidate France while a civil war rages in their own backyard)
-2.50 International Popularity (France is percieved by many as causing unnecessary tensions in the region which are exasperating many of France's allies and causing some foreign relations to be strained. Hollande needs to make a statement on this soon)

-3.00 Domestic Popularity (We are retreating from Syria even though our ships can handle the rough seas? No excuse. Many people see this as weakness on the part of the Hollande government)

-5.00 Domestic Popularity (The French already angry at the deployments to the waters outside of Syria are now very angry with many opponents of Hollande stirring the people up saying that Hollande has brought this attack on France by his "aggression")
-3.00 International Popularity (Many in the international community are stating that perhaps France triggered the targeting of tourists in this attack)
