-3.00 Domestic Popularity (Republicans capitalise on presidential veto, some Dem's angered at confused White House policy)
+1.00 Domestic Popularity ("This was a damaging decision, but ultimately right")
Mitt Romney leads Obama by 4 percentage points nationwide, potential to win unless something happens to change things.

*2012*

Many are concerned with these developments
-3.00 Domestic Popularity (People see this as being a powder keg ready to explode and while people don't want to support a nation that seems intent on provoking Russia they worry about the implications this might have.

*2013*

-5 Domestic Popularity (People are scared and want to see clear and firm but decisive leadership from Obama now.
+8 Domestic Popularity (Republicans and Conservatives are pleasantly surprised to see Obama's inner war hawk emerging something they hadn't realized Obama to be capable of.)
+5 International Popularity (A lot of nations are hesitant but are agreeing that this was a bold humanitarian move by the United States. Something they like to see in contrast to the Bush Era of Cowboy Antics)
American lives are on the line and Americans are expecting an address from the President. If the President refuses to comment on the matter his polling will drop even further and he will run the risk of losing support from Democrats as well

+4 Domestic Popularity (Americans like to see the President speaking on a key issue like this. And they are glad to see 2 of the pilots returning home.)
-2 Domestic Popularity (Americans are still concerned about the fate of pilots who remain in Syrian Custody. They do not want to see these pilots executed or worse.)
-4 International Popularity (Non Western Nations, and many partners in Latin America and other areas view this still as a violation of Syrian sovereignty and are decrying the remarks Obama has made as "imperialist")
+2 International Popularity (Western Nations particularly those in NATO view this as a move that has bolstered the human rights of the rebels)
